I think you should send a copy of the 485 Receipt notice.. This is a classic, Right hand not knowing what the left hand does situation with USCIS..

Its alright most of the time USCIS looks for last year or last 2 years tax return. I think W-2 is good enough to prove that you are eligible for Tax return.

I applied my 485 as a single on July 17th.
I got married and then applied my spouse's on Aug 16th.
Since I am married now, will that cause my application to get rejected as I applied as Single.
I am not sure how would this be handled at USCIS end ?
Any idea ?
I believe your application won't be rejected as you can always add on your spouse to your 485 application after you get married, before your 485 application gets approved or rejected and when your priority date is current

What is the specification for the passport photo? It it 2inch x 2inch or
is it 3.5cm by 3.5cm
I was preparing to use the same as that of GC process, 2inch x 2inch
but now I need to check this out...

your wife is fine, with H1 transfer there is no need to file H4 transfer. She is not out of status.
If she had presented the new H1 approval she would have got I-94 based on that date. So just apply for her H4 extension now.
And no issues with filing I-485

He said I have to renew the AP before it expires. The Parole stamp is valid until an year from yesterday.

I am currently unemployed and my spouse needs to travel to Mumbai urgently. Our AP is valid through November 30, 2009. Will there be any issues for my wife when she comes back - possibly because of my current status. Wife is employed (with a different company)& the EAD/AP was filed by my last employer. Responses will be appreciated. Thanks!
She will not have any issues in entering as long as her 485 is pending. Make sure, she gets back before the AP expires.

If parents have US Visitor Visa, can they travel to the US on British Airways via London Heathrow airport without any transit visa requirements.
They have a valid visitor visa till 2018.
