Like I said....I messed this one up and really had no intention of over-exposing it.
You think it would be better if I darken it? Hmmmm. I'll give it a try. I was looking at it and thinking that the really bright highlights gave a sense of heat.
I'll give dark and moody a shot. Thanks.

IMO: 7th Year extn can be filed if PERM is pending for more than 365 days or if I-140 is approved.
You can also get 7th yr extension with approved labor. With approved I-140 you get 3 yrs of extension.

It took 8 months for the paper work, running ads etc.
It was filed on Nov 9th and my HR got approval on Jan 5th.
EB3 and EB2 from same Company.
Do you have 3 years bachelors Or 4 years Bachelors + MS? I have 3 years bachelors and 8 years of experience with same employer and 15+ years experience in same field. Am I eligible to port from Eb3 to Eb2? How much is cost invloved approx?
Appreciate any response.

This seems to be an area where a qualified attorney might be able to give you more information on how to proceed. You may want to try other forums too to get some kind of advise.

I know. I have a company registered, we few friends decided to have a group kinda thing what you are planning now. I tried to promote that idea but some people got it wrong initially. See our previous discussion.
Anyways, my goal here is to make people understand that sending mails for AC21 are very important and critical at this stage irrespective or whether you used it or not.

I e-filed My I-765 and needs to send in my supporting documentation .
On the confirmation sheet It says to send Supporting documentation to
USCIS Texas Service Center
Attn: E-filed I-765
P O Box ..
Mesquite TX 75185
I know there was a recent bulletin that changed the filing location of I-765 .
Read Notification here (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=3ca0808dfb107210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCR D&vgnextchannel=68439c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1 RCRD)
which is here
For U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Deliveries:
USCIS
PO Box 660867
Dallas, TX 75266
My understanding is this is only for paper based filings and e-filing should be on the address on the confirmation Receipt . Could someone who has recently (preferably after March 26 ) e-filed confirm where you send the docs.

Hi Bose,
so it took you almost 9 months and you still don't have the H1 renewal? wow... that's unbelievable. I just received an email from my lawyer's legal assistant and they have received the H1 approval notice. So I have no idea what the hell is going on!
Ah the wonders of govt work...

It doesn't matter how you get the magnification - whether by extension or by a "real" macro lens, you're going to have to deal with very thin DOF. Small apertures are about the only thing you can do.
The only other option - available only if your subject is perfectly stationary - is to put your camera on a geared focusing rail and shoot numerous frames, repositioning the camera slightly from front to back in between each image. Software is available (designed for microscopy) that will mix the sharpest parts of each frame, giving you an image that has greater DOF than possible to obtain optically in one frame due to physical principles.

Well a company can be sued for any reason. I do not control the day to day activity apart from IT stuff.
My question specifically, if the company is sued, since I am a minority owner will I have to do rounds in the court appear before a judge etc..will I be summoned! Or only the executives majority shareholders are summoned.
(No I am not talking about a body shop and this is a small financial firm)

Hi,
When I came into the United States, they documented my fingerprints. Now I want to apply for a reentry permit. Do I still have to pay for the Biometric fee? What exactly is it for?
I would really appreciate any help on the topic.

Hi Experts,
On July 8th I filed my EAD. I never got any Finger Print Appointment from USCIS. I have been constantly trying to reach them about my FP appointment. But, on Sep 20TH I got a notice saying my petition has been denied because I have not appeared for my FP on Aug 3rd.
They asked me to file a motion, my confusion is should I file a motion or should I reapply. Which one makes it easy and fast to get my EAD ASAP.
Thanks,
--Bala

Thank you wandmaker. This helps.
- But can a person be unemployed before the 180 days elapse? What happens if person is unable to find a job before 180 days?
- Also, per your information - can the person find a new job, change H1s and then wait for 180 days to send in a letter to USCIS?
The whole GC process is based on future employment which your employer undertook to give you on your getting GC. If your employer (who let you go) is still committed to that, you are fine, but that is unlikely. Best is just do nothing until 180 days pass, except finding another employer (no problem if you are unemployed in between) who is prepared to offer you same/similar job. Once 180+ days pass, you are ok provided your I-140 was already approved or is approvable. You may want to read bulletins on the subject USCIS has issued time to time.
Yes, you can wait for 180 days before telling USCIS about your new same/similar job. You don't need to change H1, just use EAD.

Hi Guys,
I filed my EB3 I-140 to TSC in June 2006 and it is still pending (yes..really more than 450 days and counting...) Then in July 2007, I filed my AOS with NSC. Today, I got an email from CRIS stating that
Application Type: I140 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER
Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing.
On September 4, 2007, we transferred this I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER to our LINCOLN, NE location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
It is transferred to NSC because my AOS is filed with NSC? Have any one had this status change in the past? After this, how long did it tak to get your I-140 approved?
I am just curious because can I feel happy that atleast some progress? As you know, I am waiting for my I-140 for more than a year...
