I am from India...Here are some details.

The travels in India will help a lot in these matters.

My parents got from ICICI. I also heard that Reliance is good to.

The insurance mainly covers the hospital charges in case of hospital admission. Not that great for office visits.

If the age is more than 60, the insurance is almost doubled..

March I applied H4 for my wife. It's still pending. She is travelling to India next month and will be back only Feb. Currently she is having valid AP till next yr and we are planning to use AP this time. If you are applying H4 not along with H1 then it'll take longer time, but you can get H4 stamping in India with your husband�s valid H1 document. You don't need to have H4 document for your stamping. One of my friend�s wife similar to your situation got stamping in India without H4 document.

My cousin has I-20's from Universities A and B.he got F1 Visa with University A's I-20.
He is in India and he wants to go to University B.

Could anybody tell if he can directly go to University B and complete the transfer process from there? or does he need to go to University A, complete the transfer process and then go to University B?

does it create any problems at Port of Entry ?

There should be no problem. I have gone there before and going again now next week for H1 stamping and plan to take my personal car. I have Canadian PR though, but I don't think it should matter.

1. Is it Ok to go a few days early to Dallas ASC for finger printing ? I won't be in town on the scheduled FP date and I am reluctant to reschedule.

2. Is there a time of day at Dallas ASC that is not so crowded, so that the ASC may not mind Walk ins ?

Well, my forms were returned to my attorney because of some filing issue. So instead of my EAD as I was expecting I have to refile. Of course I now have a job offer that I would like to take.

My husband (who is a US citizen) is in school and will be depending on my salary. I dont know if that counts as a big financial loss.

Where can I go to find this out. I think my attorney i doing a less than great job in giving me the proper options to choose from.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check with your lawyer... (not this old one.. who's so forgotful :-))

Get a better lawyer like Murthy or Khanna... if your life depends on it...

If you travel abroad when the change is status is pending, the change of status is deemed withdrawn. Pls contact your immigration lawyer, so that he can work with USCIC to get the new I-94 details on the petition.

If the petition was approved before the travel happened, then all that you need to do is to start working and get a visa stamp of H1 when you go out of the country.

Now I have 2 paystubs from this new company & I am getting a very good offer from another company & I would like to go for this offer. First, there is nothing called "sponsoring a visitor visa". You cannot sponsor . Every visitor need to qualify on his/her own.
If you mean sending an invite letter and copy of your H1 to show they are visiting you , it is fine.

If you mean sending I-134 -- Affidavit of Support -- the Affidavit has no legal value. If the visitors do not have enough liquid cash, they can say that you will fund the trip (and you can send your bank statements to prove). Anybody else (like your siblings in home country) can also fund the trip. If they have cash, best is to show that as source of their trip.

If your university is outside of USA, then how about you get a Foreign Credential Evaluation done..This will clearly state, if your educational qualifications are considered equivalent to a Masters in the USA..This will enable you to file your application with confidence...Talk to your lawyer.

I am in the same state as you are. My H4 expires by sept4,2010 and my H1 starts from Oct1,2010. I have filed for H4 extension to avoid out of status.What are you upto now? Can you travel when H4 extension is filed? any reply?

If dates stay current (expected for maybe July), I-485 processing is FIFO based on receipt date of I-485.
If dates retrogress, I-485 processing is FIFO based on PD.
