It is easy for International License Holder. You can give your knowledge test first and immediately appear for driver test. If you pass the test they issue a driver license which will be mailed to your address. You will need to provide 2 proof of addresses.

I received my FP notice. My Lawyer also received my FP notice which he mailed it to me. Now I have two copies. Which copy should I carry for my FP appointment? Does it matter?

Doesnt matter which copy you bring. Attend the FP that is important. They will stamp your notice and sign it. Keep that copy for your records

I read dailykos.com, a liberal blog site, often. Recently, there has been a spate of postings there that are anti H-1B and anti high tech immigration. One example, from today, is: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/3/28/82450/4208. I have been posting comments as cacophonix.
dailykos.com is the most powerful and most popular liberal blog. Opinion that gets set there is influential with Democratic legislators. There is significant support there for high-tech immigration, but I think the tide could easily turn.
I need help from fellow IVers in refuting such ridiculous diaries as the one above. Please register and follow developments there, and please post responses when these issues come up.
I can't stress this enough: dailykos has a strict trolling/abuse policy. If you lose your cool and start abusing, you will get banned in a flash. So please be courteous.
You have indeed done an amazing job in totally making that diary hopeless.

back in our o'l days we used to say time will come that people will line up for visa to work in India. I kind of see this first article towards that end coming to reality. B'lore is the second choice for people to work outside USA. wow that is great to know.

This type of visa lets companies rotate employees among their offices in various countries. Global consultancies, federal agencies, and multinationals are the typical venues for such positions.
The third is to use dual nationality you may hold, such as from being the spouse or child of a foreign national, to seek work in that other country. This year, BusinessWeek published the PT MBA rankings. But in my view, there is no real market value for PT MBA Rankings. Employers/Recruiters don't really care for PT MBA rankings & they in fact still go with the same FT MBA ranking perception...

Check with an attorney or the immigration coordinators in the school. F1 is not a dual intent visa, and once if you get F1, there might be some difficulties in getting back to AOS. Since you are in AOS, you should still be able to study in the school. Apply for an EAD and you if get assistance (TA/RA) you should be able to accept as you have a valid EAD. Other members in the forum, should be able to assist as well. Not sure, if there is any other reason to get on to F1 status, though you are in AOS.

Yesterday I got emails that both me and my wife's 485 were transferred to TSC from NSC although I am staying in Ohio which comes under NSC. It could be the load balancing I think. I hope it's good cos TSC is much faster to process 485 applications. Mine is EB2 March 2006.

I-140 : Approved.
485 - Applied July 2007.
EAD/AP - Awaiting receipt for renewal.

Yes, AC21 applicable. But as i said, you "ported off of a unapproved I140". You have to keep that in mind. If you currently don't have a lawyer, get a paid consultation.

Yes, under the same circumstances as Question 2. However, USCIS is more likely to question your past intent to work for the sponsoring employer.
