I personally don't root for any team. Not much of a sports fan.... odd really considering every guy in my family is, but then again I am nothing like anyone else in my family... so that could be why.

I don’t know if you already know this but
follow the link to find how many have been approved based on the receipt date how ever no reference if they are EB2 or EB3 but certainly they are very arbitrary, they are all randomly picked certainly not FIFO

But the website yesterday indicated that they had collected the funds to take care of moving Mahesh and his stuff to India, and that's why they stopped the collections.

Well if it is clearly mentioned in the offer letter that Employer will cover the GC cost, then isnt the employer supposed to pay for it irrespective of when the labor was filed. It was filed in 2006.
Btw, i am on AOS if that is what was meant from my legal status..

What happens if your W2 is higher then the prevailing wage? Like $22K higher?
You are thinking too much. Whether you are in Bay area or in NYC , it does not matter. All they care is whether you are getting a salary mentioned on the LCA or not.

I wish if they publish the regulation soon, out of those 360K labor pending, half of the employees must have left the company.
If the system doesn't change than may be its best to change ourselves to suite the system :D .

in the field or in a related area."
Will this be a problem??
as one of EB2 requirement is BS or equivalent US degree with 5 years of experience.
But this job desc says its 4-6 years..
Shout it say 5 or more years ??? please help me by commenting on this!!

1. Is it good to take Info pass appointment and go for office before end of this month (as it is going to retrogress) and find out status? Before info pass do i need to get any other enquiry?
2. Processing dates for TSC-I485 shows Aug 08, 2007. Is this date recevied date or I485-Notice date?
3.Does Info-pass enquiry cause any negative effects on my I485 processing?
4. Any other guys in the same boat and what you guys are doing?

Thanks for your help, by the time I start the business it should be around 6 months, hoping there will be no problem in near future as adviced, Im planning to go head & start the business. Once again thanks for all your support.
6months is to comply with AC21. I donot recall any one saying wait xyz time to switch after you get a GC.

Yes for new applicants it's wonderful. For old applicants it's double the money and double the time (to get GC counting time from the first time they applied for GC ) or even more time than the new applicants.

Per the law no matter what:- You need to prove that you have a job and that should be same/similar job that of your Labor. I cant advise you to go with option 3 as it's at your will. I am not sure about option 2 if USCIS will really accept because you are supposed to have a job in hand. Green Card is filed based on Future Employment but it doesn't mean that you can be without job until you get your Green Card.
I dont have anything against you but just trying to tell what is what. I know it is not easy as said but try to get things solved as quickly as possible. Wish you Good Luck!

No hard feelings. I just really need to get back on my feet, since I am relatively busy I just got my own place, and I really need an idea to set me in motion. I am not a spontaneous artist in any sense at all.
There are many members here, who are looking to get better and get some experience just like you. Maybe you can team up with someone, and do some cool projects to build a portfolio, etc.
Also you should make yourself a website displaying your work that you have now.

Admin2 - thank u much for your motivation. I do understand IV is doing great work but if you can shed some light on whats going on behind the scenes, it you really help me decide on many things. One of the thing, my lawyer is recommending is to initiate porting to EB-2 which I understand may take anywhere around 18 mnths if all goes well...
